Diagnostic & Preventative Care

Whether you're a long-time patient or visiting us for the first time, our diagnostic and preventative services are designed to be thorough, thoughtful, and supportive of your long-term health.

Preventive care is where long-term health starts. Our goal is to give you the tools, knowledge, and personalized support you need to care for your mouth with confidence—every day.

  • For new patients and as needed, we conduct an extensive evaluation of your oral and overall health.

  • Scheduled every 6 to 12 months depending on your oral health status. These exams help us monitor changes over time and keep your care on track.

  • Recommended twice a year for most patients to remove plaque, tartar, and biofilm that can’t be addressed by brushing and flossing alone. For patients with gum disease or high decay risk, more frequent cleanings may be recommended.

  • Used to detect issues that aren't visible during a visual exam, such as decay between teeth, bone loss, impacted teeth, or infections.

  • Applied as needed to help strengthen enamel and reduce risk of cavities—beneficial for both children and adults.

  • Thin protective coatings placed on the chewing surfaces of molars and premolars to reduce the risk of decay.

  • We provide education on brushing, flossing, and maintaining healthy habits tailored to your unique needs.

  • We offer professional-grade options for tooth and root sensitivity, dry mouth, cavity prevention, and tissue healing.

  • Available for sports protection and for nighttime teeth grinding (bruxism).

  • Used to restore teeth affected by decay. We remove the damaged portion and fill the space using composite resin (tooth-colored) or other appropriate materials to restore form and function.

  • Custom-made caps that cover and protect weakened or damaged teeth. Crowns are commonly used for fractures, large fillings, or after root canal therapy to restore both durability and aesthetics.

  • Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth (pontics) to neighboring teeth or implants. They help restore chewing ability and maintain proper tooth alignment.

  • Healthy gums are essential to long-term oral and systemic health. We offer care for early and moderate stages of gum disease, including: Scaling & Root Planing, Laser Therapy, Personalized Support.

  • A deep cleaning that removes plaque and tartar above and below the gumline.

  • A gentle, precise, and non-invasive treatment that targets diseased tissue, disinfects the area, and promotes healing—often without the need for anesthesia.

  • Nutrition guidance, hygiene tools, and individualized strategies to promote healing and prevent disease progression.

  • We provide simple extractions and other minor procedures when necessary. More complex surgical needs are referred to oral and maxillofacial specialists we trust.

  • We evaluate and manage mild to moderate cases of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD)—which can cause jaw pain, tension, or difficulty chewing—often with the use of custom mouthguards, exercises, or referrals to trusted providers.

  • Offered as part of our restorative services, we provide both full and partial removable dentures to replace missing teeth and restore daily function. For some patients, dentures may also be used in combination with implants for added stability.
